Messages from God come to us
in many different ways: stories in the
Bible, sermons, songs, hymns, life experiences, and through angels—‘messengers’
from God. Angel comes from the Greek angelos meaning “messenger.”
We usually think of angels as
being supernatural creatures with wings, but if an angel is simply a messenger
bringing a message from God...well, there could be many ‘angel’ possibilities.
The point though, is not the
medium, but the message...and our response!
What ‘messages’ is God ‘speaking’ to you? How are you responding? Mary (not immediately!) said, “...let it
be...”
