Wednesday, January 29 – Telling HIStory...and mine

To proclaim the good news of God in Christ through word and deed…                                                          (Baptismal Covenant, part 3 of 5)

For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; the same Lord is Lord of all and is generous to all who call on him. ¹³ For, "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved." ¹⁴ But how are they to call on one in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in one of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone to proclaim him? ¹⁵ And how are they to proclaim him unless they are sent? As it is written, "How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!"   –Romans 10:12-15 (NRSV)

What has God done in your life?  What is God doing in your life?  You have a wonderful “God story” to tell.  It can be told through your words and your actions.  Tell it without hesitation or apology.  Share what you know and have experienced.  It may be just what some need to hear.  … then invite them to join you at Joyful Servant.

Talk to God about the story of your relationship.  Ask for help in telling it…through both word and deed.
